Muggy Sunday Afternoon

It's officially raining season here which means we take every chance to go out and enjoy the day when it's not raining! The rain let up in the afternoon so we headed to lunch at a nearby cafe and walked over to the Farmer's Market. The farmer's market is a whole different experience here than in the US. Straight from the farm, and somehow one mango goes for over $30 and one tomato for over $3 each. There are some very rich farmers in Japan! :-) We did pick up a nice bag of fresh herb salad which we enjoyed for dinner with grilled salmon and mashed sweet potatoes.

This nice lady gave me two mini tomatoes which daddy ended up eating. :-(

Then at home, Kian invited us to his Cirque du Soleil!! LOL

And we put him to bed an hour and a half earlier than his usual 10pm (i know.. night owl like Mar)...so we'll see how that works. Either I'm going to be up and playing with him at 5am or it'll be a nice fresh start to the week if he sleeps until 7am!
