Weekend Update

It is just beyond scorching hot here. Rainy season officially ended in Tokyo on Friday and if this weekend is a sign of the summer ahead, we're seriously in big trouble. We have our AC blasting and Maddie is panting all day, non-stop in our house. Poor thing. We put out a baby pool in the backyard for Kian, but he wasn't going for it at all. He loved the pool in Guam and loves taking baths... so it's a bit funny that he doesn't want to sit down in the pool. We went over to a friend's house for brunch and they had a baby pool on their balcony too so we got all the kids in there, and Kian was the only one crying to get out. Mar the swimming maniac is not too happy about this one. On a positive note, Kian's taken his first 5-6 steps this week..... though my sister says he walks like Charlie Chaplin.. lol.

Sort of starting to have fun.. but dad was having even more fun.

Kian loves pretend kitchens... he loves Leon's and will play with it for hours. Lucky him,  he found one our friend's house where we had a lovely brunch today.
