It's been a rough few weeks since we've been back from Hawaii. Kian came down with impedigo and just when we thought it was going away, he came down with hand, foot and mouth disease in addition to the common cold, and the impedigo made a comeback. It's been 3 weeks+ of an itchy rash and sores driving Kian nuts! Poor thing. He's finally on the mend but it'll be awhile before all the sores go away. In the meantime, we celebrated my 35th birthday, quietly at home with candles and cake.
The following day, we were invited to a friend's house for an early Thanksgiving Dinner but with so many kids attending the party, we thought it would be best to keep Kian away from infecting other kids. So we missed our only chance at a Turkey Dinner this year but ended up at my hotel for a late birthday dinner, just in time to enjoy a beautiful bottle of beaujolais nouveau.
We also stopped by Kian's daycare to check out their art show featuring all the arts/crafts made by the kids. Kian loved this red car the 3 year olds made....
