So much to be thankful for...

Hurry up everyone! I'm all ready to party in "My First Thanksgiving" shirt, courtesy of Oma
Just waking up from hosting our Thanksgiving Dinner Party at our house last night. Somehow we managed to squeeze in 7 adults, 3 kids and a 14 pound turkey in our house. Cooking a full turkey feast with a wee-one was a bit more challenging than I had anticipated. As soon as I would throw something on the stove which needed my constant attention, Kian would start calling for me or would need to be fed. So it was a lot of running around but somehow we made it and here's a look at our turkey. There was a lot more to the meal but we were too busy having fun and forgot to take more pics.

The oven was on the wrong setting so this is only after 2.5 hours... we took it out, afraid that it would be raw in the middle and turns out we learned how to cook turkey in a flash. Nice crisp outside and juicy in the middle...
It's hard to get a family picture nowadays....so here's the fam in two shots
And our first guest arrives, Uncle Mike
Holding hands with his girlfriend, Eva

Kian with the newlyweds, John and Sachiko

And the morning after..... at 10 am.
