Our time in Boise has been flying by. With so many family and friends visiting from all over the place, Kian's baptism weekend started off with a get together at Kip and Dawn's on Friday night for a potluck dinner. Special guest appearance by Adam Simons (friend from high school and a long time neighbor in SF). I just found out a few weeks ago that he was doing his residency at a hospital here in Boise so we got in touch and a little reunion was held in a very unlikely place!

Kian's baptism was a beautiful day. Cousin Dean who conducted our wedding ceremony, also conducted the ceremony for Kian which took place at Oma's house. Surrounded by her beautiful Christmas decor made the whole occasion even more festive, followed by a luncheon at Cottonwood. After our tummies were too full, everyone went back to Kip and Dawn's for nap time and lounging around. Kian's loving being with his cousins and his uncles and aunties who want to cuddle and hold him all the time. He's been sleeping and napping in the arms of many of his family members out here. Mom and Dad are just as happy since it also means we're not constantly on baby duty and can take a load off for a bit. :-)

On a totally separate note, Mar kinked his neck while doing some heavy duty lifting of our suitcases (can we say OOOLLLDDD!!!) so he went in for a massage and was recommended cupping. End result...WTF?? Close-up, it really looks like he got taken down.....
