The US does holidays right. It's over-the-top with Christmas carols playing everywhere, lights, great sales, and everyone's in the spirit of giving. The Botanical Gardens, here in Boise, was in full Christmas spirit for its annual Winter Glow. Beautiful lights, a Santa house, free hot coco and cider, cookies and Prancer.
Kian was asleep the entire time he so missed out on sitting on Santa's lap (which I am thankful for because I sort of think it's gross. Personal pet peeve). But I did get to pet a real Prancer which was pretty exciting, even for a 34 year old mom. :-)
