Recapping our last month in Tokyo

A friend just reminded us that its been exactly a year since we moved to San Francisco. Our landlord also reminded us by raising our rent. But we have also spent two and a half months of the year back in Tokyo which we were probably only able to do because Kian hasn't started school yet but..first day of school is tomorrow!!

To recap our last month in Tokyo..
1) Global warming is no joke. I have never experienced such a hot Tokyo summer ever. Reminder to never visit during August.
2) Tokyo isn't as "not child friendly" nowadays. There was a community kids pool a few minutes from my mom's house which we went to frequently. Even ramen and sushi shops offer kids meals and people are generally more helpful when you are trying to get on and off the train or bus with a stroller.
3) Food in Japan is world's best, hands down. I had the best uni pasta during my visit.
4) If you are looking for a new business opportunity, elderly care service is the way to go. You'll make millions in no time.
5) Kian speaks Japanese like Maurio....  where did I go wrong? :)

Here are some pics from the summer. Sorry for not posting during our stay!
