Meika the busy bee

With Kian in preschool in the mornings, I was excited to have some alone time with Meika. I wanted to spend some time reading books to her, and possibly enroll her in a music or tumbling class, etc. But Meika is nothing like Kian at this age. Kian would happily sit in our laps as we flipped through picture books. Meika just wants to EAT every page or eat anything. She's become a pro of digging out droppings in our carpet, and eating left over droppings from Kian' meals. She HATES sitting still, even for a few seconds for me to get her into her clothes. My attempt at reading books to her lasts about 1 minute before she starts stomping on it the book or trying to eat it. Her recent favorite activity is trying to stand and balance without holding on to anything... as of today, she can stand up for a good 5 seconds on her own. Yes, she's on her way to walking way earlier than we had hoped.
