Kian and Star Wars

If you haven't already heard, Kian is obsessed with Star Wars. Even though he hasn't watched the real movie(s), his love and knowledge of the characters goes deep. Everything he builds with his Legos is a Star Wars spaceship of some sort, and his song of choice that he hums around the house... of course, the theme song. We went to the library today because I had returned one of his Star Wars encyclopedias a few days so he wanted to go get a new one. Once he entered the Children's Room, he darted to the Star Wars section, chose a Yoda Encyclopedia picture book, and came back to me and said, "OK mommy. We can go now." The librarian was so impressed and said, "I've seen older kids do that, but that's pretty impressive for how little he is. He really knew what he wanted!".
