Kian's back and in full force, just in time for the New Year celebrations! His scars are healing nicely and he's been busy releasing his week's worth of stored up energy from his 10 day hospital stay.
We got together with my dad's side of the family/relatives for an end of year party on the 30th. 13 adults, 6 kids and 1 more in the oven due in May (cousin). We went for dinner at a teppanyaki/okonomiyaki restaurant set in log houses with tatami mats. The cozy and semi-private log houses allowed us to be as rowdy as we wished!! All the big girl cousins were patting Kian on the head while Kian pulled out all his tricks and showed everyone where his head, eyes, belly, nose, etc were.
