Happy Everything....

Our 7th wedding anniversary fell on the day of the Super Bowl. Neither of us are big NFL fans but since we happened to be in the US, I almost felt obligated to watch Madonna's halftime show (it is Madonna right?) and didn't have the chance to celebrate the occasion. Fast forward 10+ days and it's Valentine's Day today. Rainy, gloomy Tuesday. Mar brought home a beautiful bouquet of bright colored flowers and Marbucks got a 90 min. massage appt from his wife to be enjoyed over the weekend.

But again, the evening was just another weekday routine. With Mar's 41st birthday coming up in a few weeks, my first thought was to finally go out for a nice dinner out and celebrate all three occasions together..... is this what happens when you have kids? Special occasions get bundled into one for convenience and lack of free time alone? Note to self... must find a reliable babysitter ASAP rather than just counting on my sister all the time. She does already have her hands full with 2 kids. :)  Hopefully this will give us more time together as a couple and enjoy time together alone like we used to before Kian.

But then again, it's hard to leave this smiley face for too long!
