The LG family reunion

A family reunion for the LG family is currently in session in San Francisco at our new place. Oma from Boise and the Nguyen's from Tel Aviv are here for 2 weeks,  in addition to a 2- day visit from Uncle Kippy and Dawn. Makai and Kian (cousins who are a year and 3 months apart) are reuniting for the first time since December 2010 and have become quite the best buds in the last 5 days.

It's always like Christmas when Oma is in town. Moms busy building their new Dinosaur Train set and time tunnel
They both decided that they wanted to wear their dinosaur/dragon outfits to the museum today

Discussing their next scheme...

Having family around has given me some free time to check out preschools for Kian, spend some time with friends and also start driving lessons! First of all, I had NO idea how competitive and expensive preschools are in SF. We're looking at a few Japanese/English bilingual schools and most have a huge wait list and we're lucky if we can get him enrolled in one for next fall. With crazy prices for gas, housing, education and everything else, I'm starting to think that SF may almost be just as expensive to live in as Tokyo!!

We went in for my first and probably last dultrasound since arriving in the US. At 26 weeks, Kian's sister has all her limbs, heart chambers, a bit of hair on her scalp weighing in at around a 1.5 lbs. All is well.

26 Weeks. 14 week to go...
