It's always great to see friends from home out here in the land of orange towers and goth.
Our buddy Alan and friends made it out here for 10 days of snowboarding and stomping around Shibuya's 109.
After grabbing dinner at a typical Japanese izakaya, a sneak into Gonpachi restaurant where Kill Bill was filmed and a rather expensive / semi-lame S&M show that turned into a lamer interpretive dance, we finally found solace at 328... which wasn't that great either but the company was good and most of us made it back home intact.
As Alan was sure to point out several times, my VP status seemed to open a lot of doors for us that evening... too bad they weren't the right ones...but then again, that's what happens when your guide is as old as you are.
