Staycation at mom's

Maurio and Oma are away in Guam until the 21st so Kian and I have invited ourselves over to my mom's for the week. Lucky us, my aunt happens to be here as well which means delicious home cooked meals and an extra hand in taking care of Kian. It's a bit of a full house when my sister and her 2 girls come for a visit during the day. We could start a mini daycare with my sister being the head caretaker. Three all at once....

Being a first time mom is so rewarding yet nerve racking and scary. I find myself questioning and worrying about every little thing that may seem a bit odd from the milk barfing, greener than usual poop, a few pimples on his head, etc. But I've gotten used to giving him a bath which he loves, and our nighttime feeds have become "our" quite time where we can spend some quality time together. Him sucking boob and drooling, and me, eyes half closed trying my best to avoid Kian from falling off my boob. Quality time well spent...Here are some recent pics from our staycation at my mom's.

Just in the few days since Oma has left town, Kian's gotten used to my schedule and goes to sleep after midnight and wakes up around 10am. Lazzzzzy bones... Oma's not gonna be happy when she comes back!!
